Gulf Winds is honored during the 2009 La Porte-Bayshore Chamber of Commerce Salute to Industry.
La Porte-Bayshore Chamber of Commerce host a yearly Salute to Industry choosing a prominent company in the La Porte / Bayshore area. This years recipient was Gulf Winds International. Gulf Winds opened their warehouse and transload facility in La Porte in 2004 and since then has become the largest container hauler by volume in Houston*. Gulf Winds is also one of the largest shippers in the area. Even in this hard economy Gulf Winds has continued to grow and to give to their community.
