Blood drive for Steve Stewart

As many of you may know, our Chairman, Steve Stewart, is suffering from MDS. MDS is a bone marrow disorder, which typically leads to a form of Leukemia leaving the patient with the need for multiple transfusions during the treatment program.

Carol Brace, the Chair and Advise for the UHD student organization called “Business Administration Council”, wanted to set up a blood drive to help Steve and sent us this note to share:

“I Chair and Advise our UHD student organization called, “Business Administration Council” The vision for the Business Administration Council is to develop successful leaders in management by enhancing their professionalism, networking, ethics, and communication skills. To assure we direct our students in all areas of business I could think of no better way to start the new year than to give back to our Industry Fellows. This year we want to start 2015 off right, by sponsoring a blood drive for Steve Stewart, Chairman Gulf Winds International.

For this reason, UHD’s Business Administration Council is partnering with MD Anderson Cancer Center to host the First UHD College of Business Blood Drive January 27, 2015 from 1PM – 7PM and January 28, 2015 9AM – 3PM. To assure our Industry Fellows can it this into their busy schedules – we have provided live links for you to schedule your time in and out of UHD.”
