Gulf Winds provides local and long-haul services out of Houston and Dallas with a fleet of over 200 power units and multiple yards located near major port and rail facilities. Gulf Winds also has a large fleet of its own chassis and specialty equipment to meet your needs.
Gulf Winds operates over 1 MILLION square feet of food grade and bonded warehousing space in the Houston area. We have rail sidings with UPRR, BNSF, and PTRA as well as being situated across from several major terminals including APM, Barbours Cut, Bayport and BNSF.
Gulf Winds can arrange the transportation of your cargo locally, long distance, or coast to coast utilizing dry vans, refrigerated units (reefers) or flat beds. Gulf Winds has established relationships with over 300 motor carriers to serve your needs.
Gulf Winds Custom Exam Station is located across the street from APM and Barbours Cut Terminal. We offer same day pickup, timely updates, heavy lift handling, and food grade storage and handling.
Our experienced team of cargo handling professionals operate a variety of overhead cranes and heavy lift equipment for the loading and unloading of flat-racks and specialized equipment.
