Our Charities

God has blessed Gulf Winds beyond measure. Just looking at our history you can see how far we have come in such a short amount of time. At Gulf Winds we feel it is our responsibility as well as our privilege to give back to our community and to others that are not as fortunate as ourselves.

For 2010, Gulf Winds has partnered with International Cooperating Ministries (ICM). ICM is dedicated to nurturing believers and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through building churches the world over! ICM is a non-profit, trans-denominational parachurch ministry guided by God’s Word, a strong statement of faith, and the Lausanne Covenant. 100% of all money raised goes to the building of churches. Gulfwinds was also drawn to ICM by where the churches will be built. Many of our employees and drivers come from or have family in Mexico and Colombia. It is exciting for us to be able to give back to an area that means so much to so many of us.

In 2009 Gulf Winds worked with the charity Aid Sudan which works to build basic necessities such as wells, hospitals, and schools for villages across Sudan. With the money that Gulf Winds raises, we are able to help provide for those needs. Click below to view the building progress for our village.

Gulf Winds would like to say thank you to everyone who has participated in our charity fundraisers. It’s amazing when a company the size of Gulf Winds is able to give more than companies 10 times our size every year. This is due to the hard work and dedication of our employee’s and the participation of our drivers and customers. Great job to everyone in 2009 and we are looking forward to what is ahead in 2010!
