
Executive Team
President
Mr. Stewart is responsible for Business Development, Finance and Administration. After graduating from Lamar University with a B.S. in Marketing, he spent the next 23 years in international shipping with responsibility in all areas of transportation and logistics, with primary emphasis on commercial development. He has held Senior and Executive level positions with large international transportation companies both in the U.S. and Europe prior to co-founding Gulf Winds International.

Executive Vice President
Mr. Messner currently serves Gulf Winds International in various roles in Finance and Administration. However, his primary responsibility is the day-to-day overseeing of warehousing and trucking operations. Mr. Messner served as President of a large Houston-based distribution company prior to co-founding Gulf Winds and has over 30 years of warehousing and transportation related experience.

Vice President
Todd graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a B.S. in Marketing and immediately joined Gulf Winds International in 1996. Beginning as a fork-lift operator, Todd has served in every position in the company, leading to his current position of Vice President. He is responsible for all areas of management, reporting to the President and Executive Vice President. Currently his primary responsibility is the day-to-day overseeing of Business Development, Customer Service, Transportation Services, and IT development.

General Manager
BJ started his transportation and logistics career 15 years ago, holding various roles with a large intermodal carrier until joining Gulf Winds International in 1999. BJ has held many positions at Gulf Winds, which include Customer Service Representative, Dispatcher, Operations Manager, Director of Safety & Compliance, and General Manager of Transportation. In his current role as General Manager, BJ oversees day-to-day operations for Customer Service, Transportation, and Warehousing.
