Gulf Winds operates one of only three approved Custom Examination Stations in Houston, and the only one at The Port of Houston's Barbours Cut Terminal. By providing services to track and monitor exam cargo via our on-line tracking tool, we save our clients time and money. In addition, our suite of logistics services allows us to provide you with a single point of contact for warehousing and transportation of your cargo once exam service are complete and cargo release for delivery to the consignee.
Same Day Pick-up. Gulf Winds guarantees same day pick-up for goods scheduled for customs exams, reducing costly delays at the port. In addition, our strategic location across the street from The Port of Houston's Barbours Cut terminal allows us to save you money on transportation costs.
Materials Handling. At the direction of US Customs, Gulf Winds preps cargo for the inspection process. Additional services include sampling, unloading, fumigation, cleaning and re-loading during and after the cargo exam. With an experienced staff and a large assortment of equipment, Gulf Winds has the ability to handle a variety of products such as:

Warehousing and Delivery Services. With over 1.5 million sq. ft. of secure warehouse space and a fleet of over 275 trucks, Gulf Winds can warehouse and transport your exam cargo to its final destination once the cargo is released.
